More applications go online

People applying for one-off Extended Trading Permits and Addition/Variation approval can now do so online.

RSA Training for Crowd Controllers

From 1 July 2018 all licensed crowd controllers working on licensed premises will be required to have Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) training. The RSA course can be completed online and a list of registered training organisations is available online.

For further information, please view the Director’s Policy on Mandatory Training. The current RSA course code is SITHFAB002, however if you have competed an RSA course previously, page three of the policy lists the old RSA courses that are still considered acceptable by the licensing authority.

Licensees may wish to incorporate this information into their training registers, to ensure all crowd controllers working on the premises have undertaken the training. However, this is not a mandatory requirement.
