Forms and Applications

If your organisation is considering raising funds through gaming activities, you will be required to obtain a permit from the Gaming and Wagering Commission of Western Australia.

A permit may be issued to an organisation on the proviso that the purpose of raising funds is not for private gain or commercial undertaking.

In this regard, if it is intended to donate money raised through the conduct of the gaming activity to a charity or other community organisation, that charity or community organisation will also have to advise the Commission on what the use of funds will be and confirm that they will not be used for private gain or commercial undertaking.

An applicant must be able to satisfy the Gaming and Wagering Commission that your organisation is a genuine club, society, institution, association or other body of persons.

To assist the Gaming and Wagering Commission to determine your suitability under the above criteria, you will be required to provide a copy of your constitution or certificate of incorporation when submitting your application.

The Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor has made available for download a selection of forms and application kits relevant to gaming.
